The events of Easter took place at the time of the Passover, so yes, there is a connection. But where does the word ';Easter'; appear in the bible? It could only appear in an English translation as ';Easter'; is a purely English/Germanic word.

I'll just say...I was ever so shocked when learning of Easter being of the Pagan origin to find the term used in the KJV.


It didn't/doesn't fit in with what I am led to believe what scripture is saying. Like WHY call it Easter when in fact it IS Passover.
