Hell - Condemnation and FireCan the Devil upset this equation and render God's efforts self defeating? Think deeply?
If God indeed plays such game with us - come to heaven, or go to hell - I think his education of mankind has some deficits - his guidance too. Just why would he let such crappy churches do his public relations?
God makes it easy not to believe in that equation in the first place. As I see it - those in heaven will be deadly bored. And for the rest of us... hell will turn out to be a nice warm happening place with a lot of sex, drugs and music. God and Satan become friends and good neighbors, with God dancing in hell on the weekends until he pukes, and Satan going hunting in heaven.
It will all be good. Can the Devil upset this equation and render God's efforts self defeating? Think deeply?
Here's the thing, the reason we've had such a long delay getting to the apocalypse. The Devil has heard all the prophecies, and knows he can't beat God in a head to head battle, so instead of going along with the program, he's decided not to engage. Because he can't win, he'll not fight, and for as long as he doesn't fight, he can't lose. Isn't fun just being a pawn on their chessboard?
Well, I've considered this many times.
Have you ever seen the movie 'Dogma'? It's the story about an angel that finds a loophole in God's logic, and adventure ensues from that event.
But in my mind, I don't believe so. I can't explain why, because spirituality is more about feeling than thinking. Which sounds bad.... as if I'm not reasonable and walking blindly, but it's really not. Feeling is just another type of thinking.
Good question. :)
I've actually considered this from the opposite side.
It makes far more sense that evil results in behaviors that are ultimately self-defeating. Thus, the defacto victory of good over evil.
Heaven is the name of a Gay Nightclub.
I am not Gay.
I like warm climates.
God is a figment of your imagination. Grow up.
If the devil puts out the fire in hell and make hell into a 2nd heaven. Bingo...........u dun need salvation anymore whether u r saved or a reject.
Deep thinking requires a rejection of the god/devil and heaven/hell paradigm. Your question is pointless.
You may want to consider visiting bahai.org for a great answer.
Has it ever occurred to you that God controls what the devil can and cannot do?
Slowly step away from the bong.
He works for God so no.
