I've contacted customer support, I've downloaded the updates, everything. Its a T-1625 notebook and I can't figure out how to fix it. Please help!I get a Graph Render Fail error when I try to use my Gateway Webcam.?
right click on ';my computer';. Or ';computer'; in the start menu on Vista. Select ';Manage';. Wait for the window to pop up.
Under system tools, select Device manager. Go to where it says Imaging devices..click it, and under it, it should say something like, ';gateway USB 2.0 webcam';(or something refering to the webcam'; ~ Double click it, and select the driver tab. Go down to Uninstall. And uninstall the webcam (when it asks if you want to delete the software for it, don't select the box). Click ok and It will unistall the drivers, restart the computer and after it starts back up, it'll detect the webcam and re-install the drivers..and It should work normal.I get a Graph Render Fail error when I try to use my Gateway Webcam.?
Hey all - I figured out how to fix it!
1.Uninstall camera
2.Download/replace DirectX
3.Go to http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-67297.html and download/install.
4.Go to Gateway website, download webcam driver from them.
And it works :D Report Abuse
This error means that there is a problem with installed DirectX software.
Right click on My Computer then select Properties
Top left corner you want to click Device Manager
Find your camera in the manager.. and ';Disable'; it.
You will then be prompted to restart.. click yes.
Once your computer restarts.. go back to device manager and re-enable it.. should work fine after that.
I'm also searching for answers.. because whenever I try to use the webcam with yahoo, or msm.. the camera stops working (as it has for you) and you can fix it by doing what I mentioned.. but I still cant get it to work for the chat programs..
