The State of Sabotage is not a real state. It is, by the creators own admission, an art project. They have a website for their ';electronic'; embassy, and even issue novelty/fantasy passports (they ';issue'; their passports for their artistic value - they are not intended for use as travel documents) - see site below:

What kind of hardware would I need at home to render stills in high end 3D apps like Maya, Cinema 4D, etc?
Ive used apps like Bryce before and it took forever to render anything, even on my fastest PC (Pent III, 3 Mhz, 512 RAM...). I know there are many factors, but can someone give me some advice? Maybe what kind of graphics card with how much memory, etc.? Or is it only practical to render on a network? THANK YOU!!!What kind of hardware would I need at home to render stills in high end 3D apps like Maya, Cinema 4D, etc?
graphics card i can help you with.
go with anything that uses an nvidia quadro GPU. They're made especially for that purpose. The more memory, the better (not less than 128MB).
Also, if you're building/buying a new computer, get one with the dual or quad core CPU. Most application like you mentioned are multi-threaded and perform multiple tasks at the same time. The multiple cores take advantage of this and will dramatically speed up the process.
Also, video cards by Matrox are good too.
Oh, it's never practical to render on a network, too slow.
PS - Ignore everyone else's suggestions for video cards and CPU's. Although, what they recommend is great for a gaming machine, you have a totally different use and the drivers used on gaming cards don't work well with your applications. You need to think more Workstation and less Gaming maching.
Example:
AMD quad core Opteron processors
2 to 4 GB of RAM
nVidia quadro graphics card
200 to 400 GB Hard drive (or 2 drives in a RAID configuration, it's faster)
Windows XP 64-bit editionWhat kind of hardware would I need at home to render stills in high end 3D apps like Maya, Cinema 4D, etc?
Tigerdirect.com is a pretty good source for workstation type configurations. Report Abuse
U opt for a 256 mb graphics card from ati or nvidia with a neat sound card for your true xperience in audio also
well if you want to make it render in sort of real time, i would advise getting a dual core, amd say fx-55/60 etc..
these are the top of the range machines u dont get in dixons.
and about 2-4gb of ram.
these machines can easly reach about 拢2,000 with ease.
i use http://www.overclockers.co.uk for most of my hardware since they sell some good stuff..as for graphics i would suggest 2 ATI 1900xe on a ATI crossfire motherboard this will set u back about nearly 1k but well worth it.
I'd suggest something like P4 3.0GHz+ or better, duo core would help alot. 1.5GB+ RAM, 100GB hard drive, graphics card should have around 256MB ram, but at least 128MB. It's pratical to render on a single computer if you don't have the money, just make sure the computer is fast. If you plan to network render later on, try a rack computer, that way they can all be mounted into an enclosure.

Is there a way to send an e-mail and render it impossible to be forwarded to another person by the recipient?
No you cannot do that. If you are so mistrusting of the recipient of the email, just don't send him an emailIs there a way to send an e-mail and render it impossible to be forwarded to another person by the recipient?
Yahoo once pushed a program in their email that protected who saw them by having you go to a SSL site if I recall. I don't think they still do this, and I don't know of that company who went through Yahoo either. Does anyone remember this?Is there a way to send an e-mail and render it impossible to be forwarded to another person by the recipient?
Outlook 2003 can do all kinds of things of what your talking about.
Well, the only way I can see this to be posible is that you write the email and save it as na image. Then you store that image on a server and set that server to only allow conections from your or the recipients IP-addresses. Of course the recipient could store the image at his or her local computer and then forward is as an attachment. So鈥?I don't know!hair shampoo latex

How do you render a water wall using watercolor? ?
i have this interior design plate and my plan has got a water wall included in it...i just don't know how to render it on paper....How do you render a water wall using watercolor? ?
It is going to have to have a lot of white (the paper) showing through. The white becomes the reflected light. Painting something like a waterwall is tricky, because you have to show the wall behind the water, while leaving enough white to maintain your reflection.
Because I am not a professional, The way I would handle it, is to paint the outline of the waterwall, then lay in the color where the water is going to be, but VERY dilute, reserving white wavy lines for the water reflection. Then glaze in slightly darker for the wall, making it look like it's moving. Making the lines wavy and non uniform accomplishes this.

If EMP is used, then all military hardware are rendered obsolete?
That's why they've developed hardware that is resistant to EMPs...If EMP is used, then all military hardware are rendered obsolete?
Michael P is right there and they do have equipment that has extra shielding and stronger capacitors that help to ensure that it will still operate. Phone communications for red and white switch phones is run through conduit for this reason as well as for security reasons. Some of your tactical vehicles also are resistant to EMP as well so that they can continue to operate. If EMP is used, then all military hardware are rendered obsolete?
No! Military networks and hardware have (supposedly) been hardened against this form of attack.
It's the civillian information economy which will be totally devastated. I'd love to think the military will have duplicated the capacity of the civillian information networks and will rapidly patch it into a walled-off section of their networks, but I have heard of no such plans. Hopefully nobody would have heard about it if it exists, but from what we know right now we'd be sent back to the early 20th century and it would devastate our ability to field a military or project power.
The only thing we could do at that point would be to mount a similar attack on all the rest of the world's economies and try to make it look like whoever did it to us did that too. The trouble with such an attack is that it could be done from a mobile launch facility--it really doesn't take all that much of a weapon--and this makes it less likely to trace the attack back to it's source.
So if it happens, and you *think* it was the Iranians, if you don't have positive proof, do you retaliate? I'd say the ethics would be better for a preemptive attack with plenty of advanced warning if they continue down the path towards being able to mount one of those attacks on us, because after it happens it could be them, it could be hardliners from the former U.S.S.R. getting revenge as a dish ';best served cold';, it could be a pan-arab effort, it could be the E.U., or even al qaida or some lesser terrorist or even more shady organization.
It could come from our ';special friends'; in ';israel'; too. Golem U.S.A. has secured their national existence. They do have a nuclear deterrent. Stress on the ';deterrent'; idea--I'm not at all convinced they have any ability to mount any preemptive strikes on the rest of the middle east or would even want to--after all the activities of archaeologist Vendel (vandal?) Jones and the statements of David ben Gurion indicate they have their eyes on owning the rest of the middle-east, not melting it into a sea of igneous rock.
But since ';israel'; is now secured as an independent nation, we are no longer needed. Considering all the favors we've done them, if we should fall on hard times and their star should rise high, we might come around asking for some pay-backs from them. That wouldn't do, now would it? Or, after they're done with us if we're left in a condition of being dangerous, considering that they've basically recreated use over in a manner useful to them we are so easily manipulated what if someone else picked up the control paddle? They might find our great might arrayed against them someday--they're not going to risk that.
I think they're trying to goad Iran into doing it to us. If they don't, they'll do it themselves and sign ';Iran'; on it.
If and when this happens, watch the rats deserting our sinking ship-of-state--with bags of diamonds in their grubby little fingers and the legal deeds to all our property, the rents of which to be enjoyed from the warmth and sunshine of some jewrab's stolen olive grove, no doubt...
The danger of the EMP attack is it's anonymity and that it will destroy our ability to buy and sell--we won't have the mark on our forehead anymore

Gorsh, I hope I didn't just randomly code a dirty word or a racial slur! The yahoodiots wouldn't like it...
Only electronics that have not been properly protected from EMP effects would be damaged. All other equipment would still work.
No, only things with electonics in it. Guns will still work, but anything with a computer will not work anymore.
not even close my abrams would still function we would use redundant systems. we can manually fire the main gun, load the main gun, traverse and elevate the turret.
Most sensitive electronics have emp protection somehow in the event of this happening.
Not all, a lot of stuff these days is shielded.
