Rendering images in SolidWorks?

I hope someone who knows the program sees this. I have an assembly all made up and ready to go, but we are supposed to render the image and make it look pretty. What and where are the commands?Rendering images in SolidWorks?
What you are looking for is the add-in ';Photoworks';

(Tools%26gt;%26gt;Add-Ins%26gt;%26gt;Photoworks)

Unfortunately (at least in SW06) it's an extremely unwieldy package to use--at least to get good results--compared to any other professional rendering software. It's unlikely you have this option, but if your company also has standard 3d software (3dsmax, Lightwave, et al.) you could export to a dummy solid and use them for rendering; you would be hard pressed to emulate their results with the same ease.

Now, if you are stuck with Solidworks, I can't help you much beyond giving you some links--I'm absolutely horrid in getting the results I want out of Photoworks (lighting especially).

I hope they help.
