I would like to outline a image in illustrator so I can render it in cinema 4D

I would like to outline a image in illustrator so I can render it in cinema 4D
hightlight it with your dark cursor





then click the little double ended arrow on your tool palette that switches the background and the stroke.





right now you have a black fill and no stroke


when you click the arrow you'll have a black stroke and no fill





also you can adjust the stroke size if you bring up your stroke palette
