Adobe after effects? videos rendering at very large size. please help?

i made a video in after effects, it is only 50 seconds long but when i render it to my files it is 1.53 gb. so i cant put it on youtube now because its too big, can somevbody tell my why it is so big size.Adobe after effects? videos rendering at very large size. please help?
Sounds like a codec issue. Perhaps you're rendering it out as like Animation Codec or an Uncompressed codec. That would bloat the file size a lot. Or if you're up-scaling it to like HD resolutions and using an uncompressed codec of some kind, that combination would definitely cause some file size bloating.





So check your render settings and use a codec like H.264. That would deliver a lot better file sizes for you.





If you're unclear of how to do that, I would actually try the Adobe User to User forums or like the DVX User forum. You'll find a lot more people that use AE on a regular basis there.Adobe after effects? videos rendering at very large size. please help?
you need to select a video codec to compress the video, e.g. Divx, Xvid, Mpeg, etc.
