Rendering my property?
when rendering my outhouse ,can i not render lower than the dpc?? its just my dpc is 5 bricks high from the ground ,would this not look daft?? or have i got this wrong??Rendering my property?
If you do the DPC is breached and you will end up with damp in your walls.
Theres nothing to stop you black tarring the bottom portion.Rendering my property?
you can render all the way to the floor level it seems to me thatb you have a big step up to your door way, it does not matter but do not build higher than dpc or damp will come through
I know that I am ignorant, but I have a very good eye and can see things without drawings. BUT...I have no idea what you are talking about..';rendering?';, dpc?? I am just finishing a huge remodel of my $1,000,000 + house, have done all the GC work, the drawings, etc. But, I have no idea what you are looking for. Clarify and perhaps I can help.

Why aren't ';useless eaters'; rendered sooner?
Why is government waiting till all the traps and surprises are in place?
.Why aren't ';useless eaters'; rendered sooner?
um, could you post a link or elucidate on this. What are you talking about?

Rendering images in SolidWorks?
I hope someone who knows the program sees this. I have an assembly all made up and ready to go, but we are supposed to render the image and make it look pretty. What and where are the commands?Rendering images in SolidWorks?
What you are looking for is the add-in ';Photoworks';
(Tools%26gt;%26gt;Add-Ins%26gt;%26gt;Photoworks)
Unfortunately (at least in SW06) it's an extremely unwieldy package to use--at least to get good results--compared to any other professional rendering software. It's unlikely you have this option, but if your company also has standard 3d software (3dsmax, Lightwave, et al.) you could export to a dummy solid and use them for rendering; you would be hard pressed to emulate their results with the same ease.
Now, if you are stuck with Solidworks, I can't help you much beyond giving you some links--I'm absolutely horrid in getting the results I want out of Photoworks (lighting especially).

Who else believes that my people should receive reparations for services rendered as slaves?
I think you need to report your master.Who else believes that my people should receive reparations for services rendered as slaves?
No, because you were never a slave, and Affirmative Action has given all the reparations that need to be given.Who else believes that my people should receive reparations for services rendered as slaves?
Are you trolling? You are asking a lot of provocative questions. and when were you ever a slave. I never owned slaves so why should I pay for your mental problems.
ummmmmm............NO
75 Years ago half my ancestors were in Italy the other half was in Ireland. Why should I pay you for something MY people never did?
I do not believe it. It is time we all stopped trying to fix the past. It cannot be done.
Live in the present.. if someone owes you something in this century, go after it, but stop the whining about many years ago. It was wrong and unfair, but the people living now are not the ones who enslaved you.. it is not their fault.
I don't know of any of my ancestors having slaves. Don't feel I owe anything for a slave trade neither you nor I played a part in.
Why are you such a racist pig?
Yes, I think all the current slaves held in the U.S. should be granted freedom and paid reparations.
Well meat, 4 minutes ago you posted this question,
';Why are whites from england so much weaker and feminine than those in the U.S.';
I have to thank you though, I now know what ';troll'; means.
Wish there was a block member question option on this board.
I am sure there is someone, but you cannot include me in that group.
People will say that unless you, yourself, were a slave, you don't deserve reparations. And I agree with that.
But that must also mean that decendents of those who profitted from slavery should not be entitled to their inheritance. In fact, if you extend that logic, then nobody is entitled to inherit wealth that they themselves did not earn.
So, if you are against reparations, logically, you should be in favor of a 100% estate tax.
Reparations for the slaves were paid when Lincoln bought Liberia from france as a new homeland so slaves could repatriate. But the majoity chose to stay. The issue is closed.
I will pay a reparation for you. Send me your address and I will mail you a one way ticket back to your homeland.
What would paying you for what your ancestors went through accomplish? Put more of a strain on the people with jobs? Would you even be in America today if some slave trader hadn't brought your ancestors over here?
My people weren't even in this country when slavery was around.
HEY ANGRY BLACK MAN I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP! THAT WAS ALMOST 2 CENTURIES AGO GET OVER YOURSELF WELCOME TO THE NEW MILLENNIUM DUMB@SS!
My people were enslaved by Romans around 2500 years ago, I'm writing a letter to the Italian govt. and will let you know how that goes....
No, I do not agree with you. I know members of my family died in the Civil War fighting against slavery. Lincoln's real reasons may have not started because of slavery, but when Yankees fought in that war that was the common man's reason for doing so. You are not a slave, and your parents were not slaves, neither were your grandparents, in fact it is unlikely that your great-grandparents were slaves if my math is correct. Reparations are never going to happen.
From WHOM? Nobody alive today ever held slaves, so it's not fair for them to have to pay anything to anybody. Also, nobody alive today was held as a slave, so why would they even deserve a settlement?
I don't think so, sorry. I think YOU have been blessed after the fact since YOU get to live in the greatest country in the world. If one of your predecessors that actually suffered under slavery were still alive, I would consider the idea.
While slavery was certainly a shameful part of our country's history, I don't think reparations are fair. For one, no black citizens today were ever slaves. Also, I feel it is unfair to charge the rest of the country with restitution for crimes they did not commit.
Sorry, but I think it is just you and Al Sharpton.
And when you use terms like ';my people';, I get concerned that you may have something of a ';Moses Complex';.
But hey, thanks for sharing.
Hundreds of thousands of Americans, white Americans, fought a bloody conflict to a cause that freed all slaves in this country, gave their lives and limbs in the process, nearly 150 years ago brother.
I do.
Let's start breaking out the paperwork and documents. If your forefathers got rich off of slaves and the money can be traced, then let's go!
None of this accepting inheritance and then denying any connection to slavery crap.
Let's bust out the books.
Yeah right, what suffering have YOU incurred due to what happed almost 200 years ago. No one owes you anything!
Slavery was wrong. But neither you--nor any living African-American--was ever a slave. Most weren't even born when the Jim Crow laws were abolished.
What happened to your ancestors was horrible--but it does not entitle you to reparations--you were not the victim.
No. How many generations are we removed from that?
I'll put $20 on the idea that you aren't even black.
you really arent serious about this are ya?
Certainly NOT me, let it go dude, it was 200 yeears ago! Geez!
This is such an idiotic concept.
You can't get it from actual slaveowners, they're all dead.
You've no justification for demanding it of the descendants of slaveowners (some of whom are black, but that's beside the point) because the Union took their plantations away after the war, and sold them, putting the money into the treasury.
You've no justification for demanding it of the Federal Government, since that's money of all Americans, and a VERY small minority of Americans are descended from slaveowners. The majority of Americans arrived after the Civil War. Why would they owe YOU anything?
Even if it were possible to figure out who owes you what for your ancestors' work as slaves, its only fair that this amount be reduced by the cost of food and other necessities.
However, I'm all for it. I really am. You go right ahead and establish this precedent, because I am, like so many caucasian Americans, also descended from slaves. In the 1900's, my own grandfather was a slave in Canada, so if you win, I can pursue a claim against Canada, and I should get enough to fund a case against England, where my ancestors were feudal serfs, which is another name for slave.
If you meet any caucasians with a French name, they are descended from slaves. Anyone that wasn't a slave was a member of the nobility in 1789, and had their heads removed by 1792, so all French names are former slave names. They need someone to sue as well.
The same story is true in Russia, and Japan.
Just get over it.
No, my family paid its price in blood by fighting for your ignorant ancestors. How dare you think you deserve anything from anyone you lazy peice of crap, work for what you want!!!
